PANDUIT has released 12mm and 16mm-wide stainless steel ties. The ties install up to three times faster than conventional strapping systems and have a wider load-bearing surface.

They meet IEEE requirements for support and retention of cables. The self-locking design provides one-step installation and is available in pre-assembled discrete lengths with no field assembly required.

The locking mechanism has a displacement lock, aggressive locking head, locking ramp and an extended retaining tab for a loop tensile strength of up to 400kg. The ties have no sharp edges or burrs, which protects the cable bundle and the installer.

A tension-controlled installation tool is available that guarantees consistent, reliable installation of the ties. A lever cutoff mechanism provides a safe, flush cut-off on resilient bundles. A ratchet-style take up mechanism provides tensioning capability up to 450kg for a secure installation.
