PACT International have recently designed and fabricated five Static Mixers that are purpose built for inline blending of ethanol with unleaded petroleum delivered at 2,500 L/min.
PACT International delivered Static Mixers to an international supplier of the petrochemical industry. The specification called for the ASME standard with the use of threadolets and weldolets, and full traceability of materials and documentation of all joint preparation, weld procedures, finish procedures and consumables used.
The Static Mixers were subjected to the following tests:
- Hydrostatic Leak Test (29 Bar for 8 hours)
- Radiography of Welded Butt Joints
- Ultrasonic Testing of Fusion Welded Joints including Element Fixing Welds
