Outokumpu Technology appoints new minerals processing manager

A chemical engineer with extensive experience in liquid-solid separation, Brandt Henriksson, has been appointed as Manager, Thickeners, for Outokumpu Technology in Australia.

The role is of key importance for the company, which is a provider of some of the world's most efficient mineral processing technologies.

Brandt Henriksson brings extensive experience to this key role, having worked as a chemical engineer in the mining industry for 17 years, with more than 14 of those years specialising in solid/liquid separation.

He has broad experience in thickening and clarification, filtration and automation.

Mr Henriksson was with Supaflo Technology till 1989 and then Outokumpu Technology since 1998 and he has worked on many of Australia's leading mineral processing projects.

Mr Henrikkson's appointment is the latest in a series of appointments and service initiatives by Outokumpu Technology, including expansion of its Australian Service Centre to provide world-class skills to enhance the efficiency of its customers' plants.
