Orbital Wrapping
Sometimes also referred to as Spiral Wrapping or tunnel wrapping, Orbital Wrapping is effectively a horizontal stretch wrapping process.
Ideally suited to long products industries, the procedure works by applying stretch film to a product as it passes through the centre of a wrapping loop.
The film is applied by spinning around this loop, effectively orbiting around the product as it passes through the machine.
This delivers a spiral effect of film application to the product being wrapped, totally enclosing the goods in plain or printed Orbital Film.
In most cases this process delivers a strapping / banding effect and protective membrane in one pass.
