Oracle Australia is to re-launch the JD Edwards brand and lead its manufacturing and distribution go-to-market strategy with industry standard, JD Edwards EnterpriseOne. This approach is unique to Australia and not a direction being lead out of the US or Asia Pacific as is the norm.
Complementing the Oracle E-Business Suite, the addition of EnterpriseOne is a step to look after JD Edwards customers post acquisition.In the five years from February 2000, sales of JD Edwards EnterpriseOne have increased 20 per cent year on year in Australia. “Due to the overwhelming success of JD Edwards EnterpriseOne products, the latent demand for the suite and the sheer magnitude of the JD Edwards economy in Australia, we decided to re-launch this brand much to the delight of our customer base,” says Scott Dawes, general manager of applications, Oracle. “The suite has one of the oldest, most dedicated followings in manufacturing and distribution and we intend to protect and grow this community.” n
