Oracle  has announced that Oracle's Siebel CRM On Demand and Oracle On Demand have achieved significant customer traction, further extending Oracle's industry by providing wide choice of application deployment and integration for leading SMB and enterprise organisations worldwide.

In the last quarter alone, Oracle established or expanded its relationship with more than 200 new global customers, including leading brands such as, ADP, Atheros Communications, Atrium Companies Inc., Avery Dennison, Central Plastics, CLARCOR, Fidelity Registered Investment Advisor Group, GE Commercial Finance, Iron Mountain Information Management, Inc., Kodak's Graphic Communications Group, Konica Minolta Business Solutions, Medtronic, Inc., Rackable Systems, Translational Genomics Research Institute (TGen), and UnitedHealth Networks.

Designated as a leader in the Software as a Service (SaaS) CRM market by industry research firm Forrester Research1, Siebel CRM On Demand delivers strategic CRM functionality developed on a world-class, standards-based hosting infrastructure to organisations of all sizes. Siebel CRM On Demand provides comprehensive sales, service, marketing, and analytics functionality and includes an intuitive, easy- to-use interface.

Additionally, with vertical editions that offer industry-specific, out-of-the-box functionality, and strong customisation and integration capabilities, customers can quickly tailor the solution for their exact business requirements, as well as adapt it as those business requirements evolve.

"Siebel CRM On Demand is comprehensive and offers Konica Minolta the benefits of rapid deployment, flexibility and lower upfront costs," said Nelson Lin, CIO at Konica Minolta Business Solutions.

"We intend to leverage the full breadth of the innovation in Oracle software and services to help maintain Konica Minolta's leadership in imaging and continued high growth."

"Rackable Systems chose Siebel CRM On Demand to leverage its usability and rich functionality and to manage our quote-to-order process," said Dominic Martinelli, VP of IT at Rackable Systems.

"The integration between Siebel CRM On Demand and E-Business Suite offered out-of-the-box by Oracle enables us to easily access and update back office information and achieve a 360 degree customer view."

"Customer adoption speaks for itself - Siebel CRM on Demand delivers business value to companies around the world," said Anthony Lye, Oracle Senior Vice President, CRM On Demand.

"With an ongoing commitment to deliver product innovations at a rapid pace - such as the strong, standards-based integration and customisation capabilities that are now available in Release 14 - customers can continue to achieve business value over the long term. Our dedication to enable our customers to know and serve their customers better is a definite win/win."

Customers benefit with Oracle On Demand:

Oracle On Demand customers rely on Oracle's unmatched expertise to help keep their IT solutions available 24x7, while also helping to decrease risk and lower total cost of ownership. With Oracle managing their software, customers have a technology partner that can turn IT solutions into strategic enablers so that they can focus on business transformation and growth, instead of the on-going application maintenance and support.

"Iron Mountain's rapid growth and global expansion through acquisition requires us to roll out our Oracle E-Business Suite HR and Financials to over 20 countries on three continents over the next few years to achieve the organisational efficiencies demanded of a multi-billion dollar services company," said Philip J. Cognetta Jr., vice president, Enterprise Product Engineering, Iron Mountain Information Management, Inc.

"Oracle On Demand established a development environment for 11 different languages in just 2 months, which would have internally taken us at least 24 months. We rely on Oracle experts to manage our Oracle E-Business Suite hardware and software, keeping our IT solution available, secure and up to date, whenever, and wherever we need it."

"The ability to choose the best of breed software from Oracle and then choose how that software is deployed to meet specific business requirements sets Oracle On Demand apart from any other enterprise software vendor," said Marc Schwarz, Oracle Senior Vice President, Oracle On Demand.

"Clearly, the market has responded extremely well to the idea of choice and Oracle On Demand will continue to provide unparalleled flexibility for helping our customers meet their goals."
