OLIVER Footwear has released the AT series of all terrain footwear.
They suit the demanding work sites in building, construction, mining and similar outdoor environments. They offer protection in tough conditions while keeping feet dry and comfortable through a long working day.
The range has a dual-density thermo plastic urethane (TPU) sole. A lightweight, shock absorbing low-density polyurethane midsole is matched with a hard wearing, high density TPU outsole which provides the grip and abrasion resistance.
The new Hi-Impact Alloy Type 1 protective toe cap is 40% lighter than a conventional steel toecap, but still exceeds the requirements of AS/NZS 2210.3. The lighter toecap also retains the Natureform wider profile shape for added comfort, while the latex cushion liner ensures that toes are comfortable and not in contact with the toecap.
The ComfortCushion impact absorption system uses a combination of cellular urethane and Poron to protect the heel and ball of the foot with cushioning and shock absorption, reducing foot, leg and lower back fatigue. The sole outer tread pattern ensures that the cleats dislodge mud and stones for additional comfort.
The dual-density TPU is resistant to hydrolysis, has superior resistance to splitting and cracking and is oil, acid and chemical resistant. It is also slip resistant and colourfast to avoid marking floor finishes. Outer leathers are available in black, tan and nubuck leather. All are water resistant to the industry standard. The leather is soft and durable, allowing the boots to retain their shape over their effective life.
Elastic-sided boots are available, as well as lace up boots in high and mid-cut styles. Soft padded ankles and tongues, collars and lace locking devices are also included. The range is available in sizes range from 5-13 with half size increments from 6 1/2 to 10 1/2.
