Same product, different name:
Instrolex is exactly the same Olex instrumentation cable that has been manufactured for decades under the name Olex Dekoron – the only difference is the change in name.
Instrolex cables will retain the same product design and part numbers. In addition, Instrolex will continue to be backed by the same Olex specialist knowledge and technical support.
Olex will continue to manufacture its instrumentation cable in Australia at its Tottenham, Victoria site.
“Our customers should feel confident that the product they are buying under the name Instrolex is exactly the same instrumentation cable they have always used and trusted from Olex,” says Olex Marketing Manager, Tony Kiernan.
Olex Dekoron to be phased out:
Olex have been manufacturing instrumentation cables since the 1960’s. During this period, Olex has licenced and used the Dekoron tradename for their Australian made and designed products.
The agreements between Olex and Dekoron will terminate on October 15, 2007. The renaming of Olex’ Dekoron instrumentation cables will begin immediately, with the Instrolex name appearing on cables from July onwards.
