Olaer Fawcett Christie provides Charlatte an effective water surge vessel. Olaer Fawcett Christie has an experience of about 70 years in selling high pressure of up to 700 bar, small volumes, bladder type pressure vessels used for storage, emergency standby and valve closure applications.
Olaer Fawcett Christie has a complete range of bladder accumulators that is designed for large volumes at low pressure surge applications. This type of low pressure unit is designed for water applications. It is also complimented as it is also categorised under waste water.
The primary use of this range of unit is protection of pipe networks. This always leads to surge. Surge is a liquid pressure transient that can happen due to pump shutdown, pump start up and even sudden valve actuations. Surges can also produce fatigue and catastrophic failure of the pipes.
Olaer Fawcett Christie offers large bladder vessel that can hold up to 120,000 litres. This large bladder vessel is low maintenance and does not need a compressor to function. It is self contained. The fluid is contained in a butyl bladder and the vessel is corrosion resistant.
The vessel does not need electricity. The vessel can either be horizontal or vertical position. The bladder accumulators have the same mission with regard to surge control as the traditional compressor vessel. Charlatte Vessels are self contained and need no power supply for them to function.
