Nu Horizons Electronics has released a complete, production ready, RF module that delivers data rates up 2Mbps using the 2.4GHz ISM band. The nRF24L01-CAL-SP, powered by a Nordic NRF24L01 transceiver, is a prefabricated module designed to simplify the development process for applications demanding high-speed wireless data transfer.
Measuring just 17.5 x 16.5 x 4.7mm, the nRF24L01-CAL-SP low cost module is compact and low power, making it suitable for use in a broad spectrum of applications. The availability of a complete wireless module takes the black magic out of designing an RF link, accelerating the time to market.
Consumers implementing this module in their next project need no RF design experience, no trimming is required, nor is expensive RF testing equipment needed. This is a true plug-and-play solution.
