Novecom have recently released a portable version of their SentineX noise monitor. As the name suggests, the SentineX portable noise monitor is designed for easy setup and relocation.
The portable system retains all the same functions of the original SentineX noise monitor – including continuous monitoring and audio recording, daily emails, SMS warnings alarms, live streaming audio, and access to real time data online - with the added advantage of a compact transportable configuration. The use of solar power has been retained to make the system mobile and independent.
The SentineX portable noise monitor is suitable for short term acoustic investigations or background noise assessments, as well as long term monitoring projects. The compact configuration means one person can safely set up the noise monitor in a few minutes. Users can simply erect the mounting tripod, attach equipment housing, connect the solar power supply and the system is ready to start monitoring.
