Dycem's ProtectaMat available from Novasys Group
The ProtectaMat
Novasys Group is the distributor of Dycem’s ProtectaMat, a high performance contamination control zone. The ProtectaMat is designed to attract, collect and retain foot and wheel borne contamination, preventing particles and microbes from getting into and out of critical areas.
The ProtectaMat is available as a loose laid mat or with self-adhesive backing option. The self-adhesive options include light and industrial strength backing for both light and heavy wheeled vehicular traffic.
Dycem ProtectaMat is used in the following places:
- All entrances to critical areas prevent the ingress of contamination
- All exits to stop the spread of contamination and cross contamination
- At exits from warehouses and factories into office areas, to catch abrasive dirt and reduce wear and tear on carpets and floors
- Inside critical areas adjacent to critical products and processes to prevent contaminants from reaching critical airborne heights
The ProtectaMat is quick and easy to maintain. The surface of the ProtectaMat can be cleaned with a damp sponge and detergent. The ProtectaMat can be squeezed dry and and the detergent and contaminant residue can be wiped out. The ProtectoMat is then ready for re-use.
The ProtectaMat contains an integral solver-based antimicrobial agent and has been tested against 50 common organisms including Salmonella, E. coli, Listeria, Campylobacter, Pseudomonas, A. Niger and algae.
The ProtectoMat is available in blue with red safety leaders. The standard size is 1.2 metres in width and up to 4 metres in length. Custom colours, backing and sizes are available, subject to the volume.
