Noise and Vibration Measurement Systems (NVMS), agents of Bruel and Kjaer Vibro Australia, New Zealand and Malaysia, has launched the new Vibrocontrol 1500 for vibration monitoring. The high-performance, low cost vibration monitoring solution simultaneously measures and monitors bearing and casing vibrations, rolling element bearing condition and temperature at 2 measuring points on a machine.
Vibration monitoring of bearings and casings is conducted in accordance with ISO-Standard 10816. The actual measured values are displayed at the monitoring instrument and any violation of preset limit values are also visually displayed and signaled via the built-in relays for Alert and Danger alarms.
For determination of the cause of the vibrations, Vibrocontrol 1500 has the following vibration monitoring functions:
- FFT Analysis of bearing/casing vibrations
- FFT Analysis of the rolling-element bearing condition
Up to 63 Vibrocontrol 1500 vibration monitoring instruments can be networked. Setting of the instruments’ parameters, visualization and assessment is possible both locally and through the Internet.
The condition of the machine can also be interrogated online from any PC and observation of the vibration Trend or Vibration analysis is also possible through this connection.
