BRISBANE-based Nitto Kohki Australia (Stand 1900) will have on display its range of magnetic base drills and machine tools for engineering, pneumatic tools, and quick release couplings including a safety series.
A feature of the Nitto Kohki Australia display will be the latest release automatic feed magnetic base drill; the WA-3500 which is capable of making cuts up to 35mm diameter through 35mm plate.
The WA-3500 incorporates new drill controls, slow start mechanism, built-in magnet movement sensor and overload stop to prevent cutters from breaking. Live demonstrations of the WA-3500 will be conducted as part of the Nitto Kohki display.
The Nitto Kohki range is suitable for a variety of jobs with recent applications including the new Comalco Refinery project at Gladstone (Queensland) where the company supplied all magnetic base drills, high speed steel broach cutters, hydraulic steel punches, pneumatic impact wrenches, general air tools, and safety air couplings.
The company comprises 30 staff nationally in sales and manufacturing with the head office and production facility situated in Eight Mile Plains in Brisbane's Technology Park.
