Nichiyu Australia have launched their new 70 series of AC battery electric forklifts in Australia.
The new range of AC battery electric forklifts have been developed around three different elements; the 70 series sit -on reach truck; the 70 series three wheeler and the70 series four wheeler container truck.
The AC central control that combines the travel, hydraulic and the electric power steering is integrated in all vehicles in the 70 series. The electric power steering system has been adapted to be compatible with AC battery systems.
The 70 series sit-on reach truck features the ability to lift to 10 metres high, having no reduction to the lift weight to a height of 7 metres. With 360º continuous steering they are compact and quick and have the ability to function in smaller work areas. The central hydraulic lift ram has been placed off centre to improve straight ahead visibility, making the vehicle safer and more comfortable for the driver.
The three wheeled electric forklift model has been developed for work that involves turning in narrow spaces, making them suitable for use in warehouse areas. They have a ‘synchronised tyre rotation system’ which results in a small turning circle without compromising stability.
All battery electric forklifts have power steering on demand to optimise energy efficiency, ensuring operating periods between recharging are optimised.
