National Manufacturing Week 2009 is pleased to announce that Enterprise Connect and Autodesk have signed up as major sponsors for the event that runs from May 12 – 15 at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre. National Manufacturing Week 2009 attracts visitors from Australia and overseas.
Federally-funded Enterprise Connect will be the gold sponsor for National Manufacturing Week 2009, while digital prototyping specialist Autodesk will be the platinum sponsor.
Enterprise Connect was created to assist small and medium enterprises become more productive and competitive in the marketplace. With innovation and efficiency key messages of National Manufacturing Week 2009, Enterprise Connect’s sponsorship will increase the profile of the initiative and inform the industry of its various services. Autodesk has supported National Manufacturing Week for a number of years. Autodesk Australia’s Director of Manufacturing Solutions, Karsten Hojberg, said the company was enthusiastic about its role in National Manufacturing Week 2009.

Autodesk’s digital prototyping solutions provide engineers with the capacity to design and simulate products without needing to create physical prototypes. Several new versions of Autodesk products will be launched at National Manufacturing Week 2009.
