National Instruments Aust & NZ  and AWR are organising a series of half-day seminars designed to update engineers, researchers and technicians on the latest technological advances in the design and test of microwave and RF systems.

NI and AWR offer an opportunity for professionals to explore the latest technologies, techniques and applications at the ‘Redefining RF & Microwave Design and Test’ events. Given the rapid changes taking place in this domain, it is critical for professionals to stay ahead of the latest developments.

Beginning with a keynote offering a glimpse into AWR and NI’s vision of linking microwave and RF design and test, each seminar will cover a wide range of topics from wireless communications to aerospace and defence applications. The platform will also be used to introduce the innovative vector signal transceiver, which combines a vector signal analyser and generator with open-source FPGA-based firmware for real-time signal processing and control.

Additional topics featuring in the event presentations will include:

  • New features in VSS V10 for improved design
  • Incorporating measurements in the design flow
  • Design and simulation of modern radar systems using AWR’s VSS and NI LabVIEW
Locations and dates for the RF & Microwave Design and Test seminars:
  • Sydney: 20 November
  • Canberra: 21 November
  • Melbourne: 22 November
  • Adelaide: 27 November
