NATIONAL Instruments hardware can now be calibrated through NewTek Support, an approved calibration centre for NI products in Australia.
Because of this, NI customers in Australia can eliminate costly shipping charges and delays by locally calibrating their hardware.
NI managing director Jeremy Carter said the availability of a local, established, and quality-assured service and calibration organisation made it easier and more cost effective for customers in Australia to have their instruments calibrated.
"In the past, some calibration services took place in the United States, which often led to a longer turn-around time."
Through this arrangement, NewTek Support provides calibration services for NI card modular components. NewTek Support purchased new test fixtures and software to ensure the services can support the current wide range of NI hardware.
NewTek Support managing director Denis Cobley said he was pleased that NewTek Support had gained the confidence of National Instruments to undertake this important task.
"I am confident customers will find we deliver quality work on time and in a very cost-effective manner."
