NATIONAL Instruments has announced its widest band, highest resolution digitiser available for frequency domain measurements on the industry-standard PXI/CompactPCI measurement platform.
The NI 5620 for PXI is a 14-bit, 64MS/s frequency domain digitiser with a frequency range from 10kHz to 36MHz, suitable for many frequency domain applications, including spectral analysis, ultrasound and radar testing, high-resolution ATE, and video/imaging applications.
The NI 5620 digitiser features:
· 32MB of onboard memory for long, continuous acquisition.
· 80dB of spurious free dynamic range for demanding applications.
· 64MS/s to 1 kS/s variable sample rate.
The NI 5620 digitiser comes with NI-SCOPE driver software and spectral measurements software that includes built-in functions for zoom FFT processing based on centre frequency, span, and resolution bandwidth (RBW) parameters.
The software works with different types of frequency domain averaging such as rms, vector, and peak-hold.
It contains functions for frequency domain measurements such as peak power and frequency, power spectral density, as well as measurements for digital communications, including power in band, adjacent channel power, and occupied bandwidth. National Instrument 03 9879 5166.
