EDN - The Design Magazine of the Electronics Industry, has extended the deadline for entry to its Innovation Awards until 11 March 2005.
“We have had some high-calibre entries for the Awards from organisations such as Ford Motor Company, Codan and Curtin University of Technology,” explains Steven Keeping, Editor of EDN Australia. “But there has been a last minute flurry of activity from companies realising that the original closing date was imminent and asking for an extension. So we have moved the deadline by 14 days.
“This does, however, give other companies an opportunity to take part in the inaugural Awards which have the added credibility of endorsement by AEEMA and EIA,” concludes Keeping.
Information on entering the Awards can be found at www.ferret.com.au/FerretAwards/EDNAwards.asp
The Awards, brought to the Australian electronics industry by National Instruments , are sponsored by Altium , Agilent , Braemac , Adilam , Soanar and Arrow and culminate at a gala event during Technology Futures Conference in Adelaide during May.
