Digitizers
Digitizers offer unmatched versatility for both time and frequency domain applications due to an open architecture and functionality driven by flexible software.
With a National Instruments digitizer, you can not only perform standard oscilloscope measurements but also easily build other instruments, such as:
- Spectrum Analyzers
- Transient Recorders
- Ultrasonic Receivers.
In addition, you can synchronize multiple NI digitizers and other mixed signal instruments with picosecond level accuracy for high channel count and mixed signal applications.
High Speed Digitizers
Combining strong instrument integration with faster test times resulting from the high throughput PXI bus, NI high speed digitizers are the ideal instruments to use for high bandwidth automated measurements.
Using the patented T-Clock synchronization technology from NI, these digitizers can be synchronized to create systems of up to 34 phase synchronous 1 GS/s channels, or they can be integrated with other NI hardware to build a complete, automated mixed-signal test system.
- Bandwidths from 125 MHz to 1 GHz, real-time sample rates up to 2 GS/s, and deep memory up to 256 MB/ch
- High throughput PXI bus for faster test times
- Picosecond level synchronization accuracy between modules using T-Clock technology
- Powerful instrument integration for high channel count or mixed signal systems
High Resolution Digitizers
National Instruments high resolution digitizers use the latest commercial semiconductors to make high dynamic range, low distortion measurements with wide bandwidth.
These modules are ideal for a wide variety of time and frequency domain applications in automotive, communications, scientific research, military/aerospace, and consumer electronics.
- Up to 24 bit resolution
- Deep onboard memory - up to 512 MB per channel
- Up to 200 MS/s real time and 4 GS/s random interleaved sampling
- Tight multimodule synchronization
- Up to 120 dBc typical spurious free dynamic range (SFDR)
High Density Digitizers
High density National Instruments digitizers are composed of 22 data acquisition devices, each with 4 or more analog input channels and multiple ADC architectures for high throughput and simultaneous sampling.
These products serve a wide variety of applications, from 24 bit devices ideal for sound and vibration analysis to 60 MS/s sampling rates suitable for ultrasound and other nondestructive testing applications.
NI also provides devices that offer additional I/O channels, including analog output, digital I/O, and counter/timers, for multifunction data acquisition.
