Nachi Australia has launched AX on Desk which is an offline Programming Simulation Tool. AX on Desk is a simple tool and easy to use which can be operated with Windows NT or OS Windows XP.
AX On Desk has the following advantages:
Provides operational training before introducing the Robot: Teaching can be done using the Keyboard and virtual teach pendant that has same functions as AX Controller. The Operational Manuals are built in
Up to six Robots can be operated with one system: One AX on Desk corresponds with one controller. For multi-unit control, simulations up to six robots per controller can be operated
Offline teaching provides more than operation programming: AX on Desk provides offline teaching for PLC Programming, welding condition, interface panel design, and parameter setup
Ability to simulate cycle time with high accuracy: As AX on Desk uses the same motion engine as AX Controller and Simulation of cycle time with high accuracy can be accomplished
CAD drawings (DXF Format) can be imported and simulated: Layouts can be easily created by entering dimensions and comments from data in DXF format.
