A printing company in Sydney was recently deliberating on whether to purchase a new or second hand Crown forklift.
With business booking, the extent where loading and unloading trucks by hand had become too much and they were running out of storage space for their raw materials. They decided they not only needed a forklift but also pallet racking to release more floor space.
NSW Lift Trucks came to the rescue to solve the materials handling issue for this printing business. NSW Lift Trucks specialise in supplying used and reconditioned second hand Crown forklifts.
On viewing the application, NSW Lift Trucks recommended the use of a reconditioned Crown walkie (pedestrian stacker) with a lift height of 3,300mm with a1,000kg load capacity. This forklift does not require a forklift licence and handled 500kg loads and was extreemly manouverable for moving around the print shop.
The price worked out to be half the cost of a new unit and the warranty offered was better than the new unit warranty.
NSW Lift Trucks also supplied the pallet racking, providing a total solution in one package and one easy to handle lease repayment. They also provided after sales service of Crown forklifts in Sydney, satisfying the printer's immediate requirements and service requirements in the future.
