NHP Electrical Engineering Products has introduced a world-class CNC milling machine at its IECEx certified Hazardous Area Equipment workshop in Laverton, Victoria.

Purpose-built to accommodate the entire NHP range of Cortem products, the new state-of-the-art CNC machine further satisfies all customer requests no matter what the configuration, size hole or enclosure. This is achieved courtesy of a large 1500mm throat as well as an X-axis offering 800mm of movement and a Y-axis providing 1700mm machining.

The increased manoeuvrability and flexibility of the CNC milling machine allows NHP to meet customised requests and perform repetitive machining with assured high accuracy and quality control.

Boyd May, NHP’s Production Engineer observes that the capabilities of the CNC machine are endless, and will allow NHP to meet all of their customers’ requirements.
