Established in 2001, the Victorian Manufacturing Hall of Fame recognises companies and individuals who have the dedication, creativity and energy to take Victorian manufacturing to the next level. Companies that have displayed a sustained contribution to manufacturing excellence over the previous five years are eligible for induction into the Victorian Manufacturing Hall of Fame.
Alex Coslovich, NHP’s Director - Product Quality, Engineering & Manufacturing accepted the award on behalf of all at NHP.
According to Alex, NHP’s business model allows them to create jobs within the manufacturing industry and genuinely add value to locally assembled products, especially in the current economic climate when Australian manufacturing is facing some of its toughest challenges.
Lloyd Thomas, NHP’s Managing Director & CEO comments that their induction into the 2012 Victorian Manufacturing Hall of Fame is a true reflection of the great team at their manufacturing facility in Laverton, Melbourne, who produce excellence in all spheres of activity.
The Hon. Richard Dalla-Riva MLC described the awards as an important part of recognising the strength and success of Victoria’s manufacturing capabilities with several Victorian companies excelling in sectors such as aerospace and defence, engineering, food processing, fashion and textiles among others in challenging economic circumstances.
