NHP , in conjunction with Rockwell Automation, is bringing the industry event On Tour to Townsville on September 8.
This complimentary event, to be held at the Townsville Entertainment and Convention Centre, will provide an opportunity to get a sneak preview of new products, participate in practical hands-on labs focusing on the latest hardware and software, get an insight into the latest technology trends in our industry or simply talk to the experts. With free entry and free lunch provided, as well as a Happy Hour between 4 – 7pm that will include complementary drinks, nibbles and a special guest speaker, there are plenty of reasons to come On Tour with NHP and Rockwell Automation.
Places at this event can be registered through the NHP website or in person through local NHP Representatives or NHP branches.
Visitors to the event will have the choice of at least five different workshops that offer a unique chance to work directly with products and software that form part of NHP and Rockwell Automation’s Integrated Architecture approach for plant-wide control and information systems. Of particular note is a new workshop focusing on ‘Process device configuration and calibration using FactoryTalk AssetCentre’. Here, attendees will use a single Rockwell Automation software environment to configure, monitor and calibrate smart process instrumentation.
“The hands-on workshops and technology focused seminars will allow automation specialists to explore the latest trends in control technology, and gain insight into how they can be applied on the plant floor,” said Nick Newell, NHP’s General Manager – Automation Sales. “The labs and seminars at On Tour will be designed for users to learn and experience the full breadth of sophisticated functionality of our solutions, along with the benefits of an integrated approach to control.”
