In just over 12 months of actively marketing Elettronica Santerno drives to the Australian market, NHP Electrical Engineering Products has exceeded the sales of 53 other distributors, worldwide. NHP was awarded No.1 Distributor for the Sinus Penta, Elettronica Santerno variable speed drive range. The international award was announced at the Elettronica Santerno International Training Program in Imola, Italy on 6^th December 2006, where NHP were in attendance.

Through its customer focused solutions, high level of expertise and dedication, NHP exceeded sales of other distributors worldwide, who have been distributing the Elettronica Santerno product for many years. This includes distributors in historical Santerno strong-holds such as India, Spain and Germany.

NHP has taken part in a variety of small-to-large scale projects throughout Australasia. The wide power and voltage range (2.2-2012 kW, 380-690 V) of Sinus Penta variable speed drives, suiting almost any motor application.

During NHP’s first year of distribution, key projects won include a New Zealand Pumping station with 900 kW 690V drives; a 400 kW special slurry pump application in Western Australia; 1MW active front end drives for coal loader conveyers. Sugar Mills in Newcastle, and Sugar Mills in Townsville.

All Sinus Penta drives feature a robust full metal enclosure to suit the demands of industrial environments, with the option of protection ratings of IP20 or IP54. The Sinus Penta boasts an extensive range of features and all drives are covered by a 3 year warranty.
