NHP Electrical Engineering Products has introduced the Steute TQ ZS80 emergency pull/trip-wire switches that are easy to install and use, and provide exceptional industrial safety functionality.
The latest addition to the popular Steute TQ ZS pull-wire switch series, the TQ ZS80 offers four important safety features -- integrated emergency stop button, flag indicator, four-contact outputs, and pull-wire monitoring.
The emergency stop feature provides an important de-activation alternative for plant personnel. Pull-wire activation can often be difficult when the operator is close to the switch-body itself. The TQ ZS80's emergency stop button offers a convenient and practical stopping alternative for such situations.
The TQ ZS80 offers a unique four-contact switch, in place of the industry standard two-contact arrangement. These additional contacts permit the TQ ZS80 pull-wire switch to be easily connected to signalling, alarms and other ancillary devices.
Locating the activation point along the length of the pull-wire has been made easier with the incorporation of visible flag indicators. Visible from across the factory floor, the flag indicators enable technicians and operations personnel to quickly locate the triggered pull-wire switches.
Additional monitoring functions include 'break wire' and 'slack-wire' detection. These safety features increase maintenance efficiency and ensure application uptime is maximised.
