ELETTRONICA Santerno’s new Sinus Penta variable speed drive is now available from NHP Electrical Engineering Products Pty Ltd.

The variable speed drive provides superior flexibility with inputs and outputs suitable for the full spectrum of industrial applications.

The Sinus Penta boasts a wide power range from 2.2kW to 2010kW with voltages from 380V to 690V and enclosure ratings of IP00, IP20 and IP54 allowing a competitive, economical and convenient solution.

By using a robust metal enclosure, the Sinus Penta meets the demand of industrial applications and the drive includes a three year warranty. Also included are internal EMC filters to comply with C-Tick requirements.

The Sinus Penta incorporates five built-in control methods, including V/f, sensorless vector and full vector control for easy adaptation to a wide range of applications. The flexibility extends to the parameter structure and I/Os that can be scaled to suit the complexity of each application.

Communication with the user ensures the drive is easy to use, with the four line backlit LCD keypad as standard, all programming messages and error messages are easily identifiable.

The keypad has the added ability to upload and download parameter values for storage and download to another drive and allows the convenience of remote mounting.
