Voltimum Australia signs NECA as trade partner to its innovative web portal

Supplier News
According to NECA NSW , Voltimum Australia has signed on the National Electrical and Communications Association (NECA) as a portal trade partner. Voltimum Australia is the leading web portal for Australia’s electrical industry.

Voltimum Australia’s Marketing Manager Damir Pletikosa explains that the NECA as the national voice of the electrotechnology contracting industry, represents the interests of electrical and communications contractors Australia-wide. Voltimum launched its Australian operation in late March this year.

The partnership will help Voltimum in their objective to become the central source of technical information for electrical contractors in Australia while enabling NECA to highlight its work in areas such as workplace health and safety, education and training as well as environmental sustainability. At no cost to the user, Voltimum aims to educate the market on new products, standards, regulations and the latest news from partners.

NECA will have presence in the news, training and technical resource sections of the Voltimum website in addition to being featured in the fortnightly email newsletter, Volti-news.

All of NECA’s individual state offices have the opportunity to place content on Voltimum as well as EcoSmartElectricians, the innovative national training and accreditation program run by NECA for electricians in the rapidly growing market of energy efficiency.

NECA’s Chief Executive Officer James Tinslay encourages members to register on the Voltimum portal to keep themselves up to date with the latest developments. NECA will also be providing regular content on a whole range of areas including representing the industry at federal and state levels, recognising excellence through award schemes and developing their apprentice programs.

Voltimum has also signed key partners such as the Australian Cablemakers Association, Electrical Regulatory Authorities Council and Lighting Council Australia.
