James Tinslay, NECA’s National CEO would be stepping down at the end of the year.
Making this announcement, Wes McKnight, President of the National Electrical and Communications Association (NECA) said that James Tinslay has been with NECA for over 25 years, playing a key role in transforming the organisation from a loosely-associated alliance of state-based operations to one of Australia’s leading peak bodies.
On behalf of the Council, members and staff, McKnight personally thanked James for his commitment, contribution and his many achievements during his time with NECA.
James Tinslay joined NECA in 1988 as the CEO for NECA NSW and moved to the National CEO role in 2007. He has represented NECA with several key industry bodies, in particular Standards Australia, the ACCI, E-Oz and NOLA, and has worked with a number of government advisory bodies.
Tinslay also regularly presents at electrical industry forums and has a much-respected knowledge of regulatory matters.
