NC Computer Systems designs CAD/CAM software for small and medium companies with CNC machines. During Austech the company will feature the recently released CAMWorks 2005 from TekSoft.
CAMWorks 2005, which includes a new module for mill-turn machining centre, is a knowledge-based, feature recognition and associative machining CAM system that is seamlessly integrated into SolidWorks design software.
The advanced three-axis multi-surface/solids machining have been developed to meet the requirements of the mould making industry. This machining provides numerous general cycles for roughing, semi-finishing and finishing as well as specialised strategies such as 3D stepover, pencil milling and flat area machining.
All cycles support the ability to generate rest machining toolpaths from the work in process model. Toolpaths can also be contained by the automatic detection of steep and shallow areas.
NC Computer Systems is at stand J34 in the Austech Pavilion at National Manufacturing Week 2005, in Melbourne, May 10-13.
