RFID and identity management service provider, Fastcards have announced that Switzerland-based Bluehill ID have completed the acquisition of their business. According to Scott Austin, Founder and President, Fastcards, the business is an identity management service provider serving government and industry clients in addition to providing RFID tracking solutions for mining and industrial applications.
Fastcards offer a unique patented web based credential management solution, which was recently deployed in conjunction with RFID tagged credentials at the World Youth Day 08 event in Sydney. Fastcards had commenced operations in Brisbane, Queensland, in 2003 along with their subsidiaries, Sunshine Technologies and id-DNA.
Fastcards’ unique RFID and web solutions will be sold through the Bluehill Group around the world and bring a great depth of knowledge and engineering competence to the Bluehill Group. Fastcards are also an official issuing body of the Maritime Security ID Card and a provider of ID and RFID Solutions to Government, Mining and the Industrial sector throughout Australia.
According to Ayman Ashour, CEO, Bluehill ID, Fastcards have been a pioneer in serving the Australian market with outsourced identity management solutions.
