HOLTEK, represented in Australia by Multi Components , has released the HT46R46, HT46R46E and HT46R47E eight-bit MCUs.

They are RISC architecture microcontroller devices designed for A/D applications that interface directly to analogue signals, such as those from sensors. The HT46C4xE is fully pin-compatible with the OTP version HT46R4xE device. There are two dice in the HT46R4xE/HT46C4xE package. One is the HT46R4x/HT46C4x MCU, the other is a 128×8 bits EEPROM used for data memory purpose. The two dice are wire-bonded to form HT46R4xE/HT46C4xE devices.

The devices have low power consumption, I/O flexibility, programmable frequency divider, timer functions, oscillator options, multi-channel A/D converter, PULSE WIDTH MODULATION function, halt and wake-up functions. They suit a range of A/D applications, including sensor signal processing, motor driving, industrial control, consumer products and subsystem controllers.
