EDS-200A switches are reliable unmanaged Ethernet switches. The EDS-200A series includes both 5 and 8-port models that come with a rugged, IP30 protected, aluminium housing, and redundant dual power inputs with 9.6 to 60VDC or 18 to 30VAC to give users flexibility for a variety of industrial applications.
In addition, the wide operating temperature range (-10 to 60°C) and DIN-rail or wall mounting capability make the plug-and-play EDS-200A Ethernet switches suitable for industrial Ethernet applications.
Wide power input range
The EDS-200A series provides redundant dual power inputs and can operate on either 12/24/48VDC (9.6 to 60VDC) or 18 to 30VAC. Supporting such a wide range of power inputs makes the switches suitable for a variety of industrial applications.
The two power inputs can be connected simultaneously to live AC or DC power sources. If one of the power inputs fails, the other live source enhances system reliability by backing up the Ethernet switch’s power needs automatically.
Aluminium casing protection
The aluminium housing with industrial IP30 protection is good for thermal conductivity since aluminium has better heat dissipation properties than steel.
