Moxa Inc. announces the release of a new range of industrial grade IP cameras designed with exceptional tolerance of extreme temperatures.
Moxa’s fanless IP cameras are designed with rugged reliability, offer superior image quality and come with industry proven certification.
Moxa’s VPort 36 is a wide operating temperature IP camera capable of running comfortably in extreme temperatures ranging from -40°C to 75°C without using any fans or heaters. The industrial-grade IP cameras capture brilliant HD images and deliver reliable video streaming in any environment, from snowy mountains to scorching deserts and everything in between.
The rugged IP cameras can therefore, offer excellent performance in oil and gas, rolling stock, and Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) applications.
The fanless operation allows Moxa’s IP cameras to deliver higher reliability at a lower power draw, greatly simplifying the electrical installation and maintenance of the system. The cameras are even compliant with the IEEE 802.3af PoE standard, so they can be powered simply through an Ethernet cable.
IP cameras in industrial applications also need physical protection against the elements. Moxa’s IP cameras are IP66-rated and possess Level 3 high EMI/EMC protection for consistent performance in rainy, dusty, or high EMI environments.
For protection against vandalism and tampering, the IP camera enclosure is also IK-10 (EN 62262) rated, the highest level of vandal resistance for outdoor applications.
