Moxa introduces a new rugged range of EN 50155 compliant IP cameras featuring a rectangular form factor.
Moxa’s new VPort P06HC-1MP-M12 IP cameras support superior 720P images with an advanced constant bit rate control function. Key features include an anti-vibration Ethernet connector, built-in microphone for implementing an intercom function, IP66-rated housing, and a full 5-year warranty.
Moxa’s new EN 50155 compliant IP cameras also come with an optional decorative plate to make flush wall-mount installations both unobtrusive and attractive.
Rectangular form factor with EN 50155 compliance
Moxa’s new VPort P06HC-1MP-M12 IP camera features a metal housing with IP54 water and dust protection; the rectangular form factor is ideal for applications requiring an unobtrusive flush wall-mount installation. The cameras are also compliant with EN 50121-3-2 (EMC), EN 61373 for shock and vibration, and essential sections of EN 50155, with standard models designed for T1 temperatures.
Advanced constant bit rate control
CBR Pro is an advanced bit rate flow control technology that limits the transmission bit rate based on a user’s network bandwidth. This function is designed to secure the video stream transmission to provide the best image quality by eliminating the dropped packets that occur when the peak bit rate exceeds the bit rate allowed by the network bandwidth.
Built-in microphone and anti-vibration Ethernet connector
The VPort P06-1MP-M12 has one microphone for audio input, allowing operators to both see and hear the events happening onsite. The IP camera features a 4-pin M12 D-code Ethernet connector to ensure network connectivity and increase the reliability of video transmissions over networks in high-vibration environments.
