World-leading provider of industrial Ethernet solutions, Moxa Inc. has released the latest version of its network management software suite, MXstudio.
With the ability to support a variety of devices, including Ethernet switches, wireless AP/Bridge/Client, Ethernet gateways, serial device servers and IP cameras, the software suite aims to deliver an easy management experience to automation network administrators.
The new MXstudio software suite includes Moxa’s well-known MXview network management software in addition to two new tools: MXconfig mass configuration tool for initial mass deployment, and N-Snap network snapshot tool for quick troubleshooting. The complete suite allows the user to handle almost every task at each stage of the network management lifecycle, including installation, operation, maintenance, and diagnostics. Its intuitive interface empowers automation engineers to easily run a high availability network, reducing the total cost of ownership.
According to Yiwei Chen, product manager for Moxa’s Industrial Ethernet Infrastructure division, as industrial networks get more complex, engineers increasingly face challenges trying to keep networks continuously operational. They not only need to spend time learning different software for different tasks while trying to eliminate human error through time-consuming maintenance processes, they also need to invest more time, especially in larger networks to pinpoint the root cause of errors.
