EPSON Robots announces new version of EPSON RC+ 5.0 with 3D simulation

World-leading provider of advanced robotic technology solutions, EPSON Robots has introduced a new version of EPSON RC+ 5.0, a powerful development environment now featuring the EPSON RC+ Simulator for 3D simulation.  

According to Michael Ferrara, Director of EPSON Robots, EPSON RC+ 5.0 development environment leads the industry in ease of use and features powerful tools for robot development. Version 5.4 of the software now provides simulation and offline programming features that enable customers to create, design and run their SPEL+ programs at their desks.  

He adds that EPSON RC+ version 5.4 allows users to begin developing and programming a functional robotic system prior to setting up equipment to save time.    

A powerful addition to EPSON RC+ 5.0, EPSON RC+ Simulator allow users to create complete EPSON RC+ projects at their desks in addition to adding obstructions to enable developers to identify potential collision points.  

Simulations of developed applications can be saved as AVI movie files. EPSON RC+ 5.0 works with standard PCs running Windows XP, Vista or Windows 7.    

The high performance Micro PowerDrive RC180 Controller comes standard with EPSON RC+ 5.0 for ease of use and reliability.
