EPSON Robots further expanded it’s G-Series lineup with the introduction of the new EPSON G3 compact SCARAs. EPSON G3 robots which are available from Motion Solutions Australia

“Our goal is to continue our Power of Choice initiative by providing customers with the right robot for the job. The EPSON G3 provides the high performance and reliability EPSON Robots are famous for, in a very small footprint, and at an extremely reasonable price” stated Michael Ferrara, Director of EPSON Robots. “With the G3, we also introduced another industry first. Unique to the EPSON G3 is our new curved arm option to maximize work envelope usage. Our 350mm curved arm model is able to match the motion range of larger 400mm class SCARA robots, thus saving our customer’s valuable floor space.” 

With over 30 new models to choose from, G3 arm robots are available in reaches of 250, 300 and 350mm. They are also available in Class 10 Cleanroom, ESD compliant configurations. A small footprint and high performance capabilities make EPSON G3 robots perfect for applications and industries requiring demanding cycle times, high precision and high reliability such as: hard disk assembly, lab automation, electronics, medical device assembly, photonics, semiconductor, telecommunications and many others. 

G3 robots come standard with a low cost, high performance Micro PowerDrive RC180 Controller which provides the ultimate experience in ease of use, compact size, and reliability. In addition to all of these features, the RC180 controller also provides our industry leading EPSON RC+ Controls software and lots of fully integrated options such as: Vision Guidance, .Net support, Profibus, DeviceNet, EtherNet/IP and much more. 

With the addition of the G3 robots, EPSON now offers over 198 G-Series SCARA robots, ranging from 250mm to 1000mm in reach and up to 20Kg payloads.
