Recognising the need for a compact, corrosion resistant and simple to assemble power rail system for both outdoor and indoor use, VAHLE has designed and manufactured new KBHS enclosed power rail.
Morris Powerlec the sole Australian distributors for all VAHLE products will stock and supply the new KBHS enclosed power rail in a four conductor configuration [with other configurations available on request ], which are assembled in a rigid PVC housing, using flat copper band and simple screw connectors. The current collectors run in ball bearings guided by the housing. The power is then transferred by spring loaded carbon brushes.
Due to the KBHS enclosed power rail’s innovative enclosed design, the ingress of water, dust and dirt is eliminated and above all, the safety aspect of human hands coming in contact with the connectors is not possible. The KBHS enclosed power rail has received an 1P 23 rating.
Applications for the KBHS enclosed power rail include, overhead and elongated track cranes, monorails, electric hoists, electric tools, automated stacking and picking systems, and many other moving equipment power items.
The KBHS enclosed power rail is available in 1, 2, 3 and 4 metre lengths, from 40 to 200 Amp and with a competitive price advantage.
