Available from Moore Industries-Pacific , PAC and PAV AC current and voltage transducers are capable of accepting an AC current (PAC) or AC voltage (PAV) input. They supply an accurate (±0.25% of rated output) DC current output.
Ideal for monitoring and measurement applications, PAC and PAV AC current and voltage transducers monitor the electrical consumption of “load” devices such as motors and heaters. They also measure the amount of electricity created by “source” devices like transformers and generators.
PAC and PAV transducers can also be used to trigger an alarm should the current or voltage input value fall outside of a safety range.
Available in single and triple configurations, PAC and PAV AC current and voltage transducers are available in self powered models where the power is obtained from the device that is being monitored. This means that an extra power supply is not necessary.
The compact single configuration models are ideal for single-point monitoring while the triple configuration models combine three separate input/output channels in a single housing, reducing instrument and installation costs.
Housed in a robust and rustproof aluminium enclosure, these AC current and voltage transducers also feature surge limiters that provide input and output surge protection.
