Moore Industries-International, leaders in interface instruments for industrial process control, received the Manufacturing Leadership Award from the San Fernando Valley Business Journal at a ceremony on 16th March at the Warner Center Marriott Hotel in Woodland Hills, California. The recognition highlights Moore Industries’ place as one of the most innovative manufacturing companies in the region.
Moore Industries was founded in 1968 by Leonard W. Moore. He is still the company’s CEO and he now presides an independent, company which is agile and flexible in its manufacturing of interface instruments for industrial process control.
The award was decided by an advisory committee of experts selected by the San Fernando Valley Business Journal. They reviewed a number of criteria, such as market dominance, creativity in doing business, financial success, number of employees and length of time in the area. As a result, Moore Industries was named the winner.
“This award belongs to each and every employee at Moore Industries for their efforts and dedication in keeping the company competitive as one of the leaders in the industry despite the enormous changes in the manufacturing arena throughout the years,” said Albert Badgen, the company’s Director of Manufacturing.
Along with winning the award, Moore Industries also received special recognition from the California State Legislature.
