MONO Pumps has launched their new ASP pump range. The Mono ASP pump uses the same simple principle that thousands of farmers and graziers have come to know and trust. Mono Pumps have used customer feedback to develop a tough, reliable pump.
The ASP features a flexishaft, which is characteristic of all Mono pumps. Unfortunately traditional flexishafts are long and this results in long and often difficult to install pumps. Uncoated steel flexishafts installed in applications where the water quality is poor can fail due to corrosion, even if stainless steel is used.
The Mono ASP pump is the first agricultural helical rotor pump to use a flexishaft made from titanium. The "Titanium Tuff" flexishaft is shorter, stronger and more corrosion resistant than traditional flexishafts.
Helical rotor pumps are inherently self-priming and subsequently suited for drawing water out of creeks and dams. The ASP Motorotor is available with either a 4-pole (1450rpm) or 6-pole (960prm) flange mounted motor. As well as improving the suction capability of the pump, the slower speed of the 6-pole ASP significantly extends the pump life.
The new ASP pump body draws on Mono Pumps industrial pump design experience. By providing physical separation of the motor from the pump, you are guaranteed the best protection yet for your electric motor.
ASP Longhaul pumps are available either as bareshaft pumps or can be fully motorised by Mono. Motorised units are mounted on a galvanised steel base and connected to the user’s choice of electric, petrol or diesel motor.
