DESCRIBED as "technically advanced, exceptionally rugged and very reliable," compact ABS Jumbo submersible dewatering pumps are now available in Australia via Australian distributor Mono Pumps .
Newly introduced into Australia, ABS Jumbo submersible dewatering pumps represent cost effective pumping via a compact design that generates high efficiency with exceptionally low maintenance requirements, according to Mono Pumps WA state manager Chris Herbert.
Designed for mining operations and building site dewatering the new pumps are claimed to feature low weight, exceptional durability and high performance.
Major parts are made in aluminium with cooling jackets in stainless steel. Impellers are specially hardened while "wear parts" are rubber lined to increase wear resistance.
Contact parts can be adjusted to maintain high efficiency over the long term while polyurethane diffusers and wear rings also ensure extended life in harsh conditions and aggressive media.
In both the ABS Jumbo 4 to 84 ‘lightweights’ and the more powerful ABS Jumbo 205 to 604 Series pumps, rigid stainless steel shafts are supported on maintenance free ball bearings.
Built in thermal sensors are on guard to protect the motor and ensure dry running operation. Zinc anodes provideadditional protection against corrosive media including salt or brackish water and effluents.
A bottom suction adaptor can be installed when the pumps are required to lift low levels of water.
