Modular Mining Systems will display their new advancements in mining technology, including new modules for the ProVision NextGen GPS-guided fleet management software, and DISPATCH NextGen mine management software, on Stand S135 during AIMEX 2007 – Asia Pacific’s International Mining Exhibition, to be held at Sydney’s Olympic Park from September 4 to 7, 2007.
The new ProVision modules include a mine safety solution for both light vehicles and personnel, which monitors their location in proximity to hazards. A second module, ProVision Analyst, provides historical and real time information to analyse and streamline dozer operations. A central, unified digital terrain model facilitates real time tracking of dozer movement and detection of proximity to hazards.
DISPATCH NextGen provides users with faster access to real-time information, improved integration with information systems, and simplified administration. The new system provides greater customisation, increased flexibility and ease-of-use.
Information will be available on the imminent MLX mobile platform, which provides enabling technology for the feature-rich IntelliMine NextGen applications.
Visitors to the Modular stand will be entered in a daily draw for a GPS system.
