Milford Astor has formed an alliance with Select Inks.
Select Inks manufacture UV inks for self adhesive and shrink sleeve applications, water-based inks specifically for the narrow-web flexographic industry, and adhesives for cold foiling technology.
The alliance was formed to complete Milford Astor’s new 900 Series cold foil package. 900 Series cold foil, in standard and over-printable versions, is designed for high speed UV-sheet fed offset printing using an adhesive and no dies. Features include broad area coverage, good over-printability and fine definition that enhance printing performance.
Select cold foil “adhesive” has been developed to exactly adapt to the 900 Series cold foil to provide outstanding performance with the additional benefit of requiring less adhesive and thereby reducing operating costs.
