Box Hill Institute will use Odyssey intelligent ERP software from Mid Comp International for teaching logistics students. According to Box Hill Institute, experience in using the Odyssey intelligent ERP software/supply chain management system will enhance students’ chances of finding employment when they graduate. The software can also benefit students, who already work in the transport and logistics industry.
Box Hill Institute’s courses range from Certificate 1 through to Diploma in Logistics. Study options range from a 14-week Certificate III in Logistics programme to short courses for students doing one or more units from that package.
Box Hill Institute observe that most industry players, those with five or more people in their warehouses, use electronic systems and students trained in using Odyssey intelligent ERP software will quickly adapt to these.
Box Hill Institute have set up a working warehouse and will integrate Odyssey intelligent ERP software into the RFID (radio frequency identification) system on forklifts, enabling students to optimise RFID and electronic stores. Box Hill Institute note that Odyssey intelligent ERP software is easy to use and has broad functionalities.
