Microview Australia Trading  supply the DMTFH Portable Series Ultrasonic Flowmeter for liquid measurement.

Functions and applications of the DMTFH Portable Series Ultrasonic Flowmeter include:

  • Principle of Measurement: Principle of Transit Time, Digital Signal Processing (DSP) Technology and MultiBeam Transducer Technology
  • Repeatability: ±0.2% of reading
  • Accuracy flow rate: ±1.0% of reading at rates >0.3 m/s uncalibrated; ±0.5% of reading at rates >0.3 m/s for field calibration systems
  • Response time: 0 to 999 seconds, user-configurable
  • Velocity: -12 m/s to +12 m/s
  • Pipe size: 20 to 2540mm
  • Units: User-configured - metres, feet, litres, gallons, Imperial gallons, oil barrels, liquid barrels, Imperial liquid barrels, million gallons, cubic metres, cubic feet (rate time: sec, min, hr, day)
  • Totaliser: 7-digit totals for net, positive and negative flow respectively
  • Liquid types: Most liquids containing less than 5% total suspended solids (TSS) or with no aeration
  • Security: Keypad lockout, user selected digits access code
  • Display: 4x16 English letters
  • Communication interface: RS-232C, Baud-rate from 75 to 57600
  • Transducers: Type M1 is standard, other 3 types are optional
  • Transducer cable length: Flexible cable: 4 metres as standard, 8 metres for optional
  • Power supply: 3 AAA Ni-H built-in batteries, when fully recharged, these will last over 10 hours of operation 100 -240VAC for the charger
  • Data logger: Built-in data logger can store over 2,000 lines of data
  • Manual totaliser: 7-digit press-key-to-go totaliser for calibration
  • Housing material: ABS
  • Case size: 100x66x20mm
  • Handset weight: 514g (1.2 lbs) with batteries
The DMTFH Portable Series Ultrasonic Flowmeter is suitable for:
  • Water supply and drainage water, including hot water, sewage (with less than 5% suspended solids) and sea water
  • Process liquids, including liquors, beverage, olive oil and milk
  • Oil, including lubricating oil, gasoline, kerosene and diesel oil
  • Metallurgy, laboratory, food and medicine
  • Heat measures, heat balance, energy conservation
  • On-the-spot check-up, pipeline leak detection and judgment
Differentiating features of the DMTFH Portable Series Ultrasonic Flowmeter include:
  • Advanced Digital Signal Processing (DSP) technology and the MultiBeam transducer technology
  • Digital Cross-correlation (DCC) technology
  • Non-invasive flow system allowing solids to pass through the pipe with no effect on the meter No Y-strainers or filtering devices needed
  • No-contacting sensor design making no fouling and free maintenance
  • Sensors suitable for different pipe materials with wide pipe diameters
  • Easy and cost-saving installation by clamping transducers on the outside of existing piping systems
  • User-friendly menu selections making DMTF easy operations
  • User-configurable in English, metric and other universal engineering units
  • Event data logger available in searching the event of totaliser
  • Parallel operation of positive, negative and net flow totalisers available
  • The flow rate, or total pulse output and frequency output available through open collector
