A new advancement in dust filtration has been released by Micronair for the woodworking and associated industries. Based on advanced technology, Micronair have incorporated Ultra-Flow technology into their latest range of dust extractors.
The use of Ultra-Flow technology has provided significant improvement in machine size reduction and airflow capacity.
By changing the arrangement of the inlet position, placement of the filter bags and design of the reverse pulse venturi, Micronair have been able to reduce power consumption.
The Ultra-Flow technology helps also reduces the level of particle emissions by maintaining a portion of the filter cake at all times, stopping the particle penetration of the filter bag immediately after cleaning.
The Ultra-Flow reverse pulse technology provides online cleaning, which allows the dust extractor to operate on a continuous basis and can be fitted with a shut off valve so even bin changes can be carried out without having to shut down.
The units are fitted with a high pressure fan and have a low pressure drop across the filters which means that the units are able to meet the dust extraction requirements of machinery such as Edge Bander’s and CNC routers. Reducing the amount of waste left on the boards and extending tooling life.
The Ultra-Flow technology has been incorporated into machines from 1000m3/hr to 50,000m3/hr and are suitable for small to medium sized workshop.
